Three Wide Brewery engaged us to restore their grain silo after the original coating was applied in the incorrect color and began peeling. We used a high-performance, epoxy-based Sherwin-Williams coating designed to accommodate seasonal expansion and contraction of the metal surface. The project was completed in 10 working days with minimal disruption to brewery operations, and all branding decals were replaced upon completion.
We also addressed critical electrical deficiencies from the original build, including insufficient power capacity—only 800 kVA had been installed despite 1,200 kVA specified in project plans. We installed the required transformers and electrical panels to bring the facility into full code compliance. Additionally, we upgraded inadequate production floor ventilation with Super Duty industrial fans, significantly improving air circulation and working conditions throughout the space.
Actek Manufacturing / Dal-Tex engaged us to perform a comprehensive inspection of their electrical system. The assessment identified multiple electrical code violations, including missing grounding at electrical panels, undersized conductors, and improperly wired mechanical components. We corrected these deficiencies to bring the system into compliance and improve overall safety and reliability.
In addition, the facility required improved air circulation throughout its 30,000-square-foot warehouse. We replaced the existing 10-foot industrial ceiling fans with upgraded 15-foot Super Duty industrial fans, significantly enhancing airflow and creating a more comfortable and efficient working environment.
YLS Bakery partnered with Benchmark One General Contracting to complete a comprehensive tenant improvement (TI) of their outdated bakery space. The project focused on modernizing the infrastructure, improving functionality, and elevating the overall customer experience.
We installed a new mechanical system with rooftop unit and upgraded electrical capacity from 200-amp to 400-amp service to support expanded operations. Strategic duct rerouting and plumbing adjustments allowed us to raise ceiling height by 12 inches while installing new acoustic ceiling tiles and drywall. The partition wall between kitchen and service areas was relocated to improve workflow efficiency.
Finishes included new tile and epoxy flooring, custom tiled cabinetry, and a redesigned display area. The commercial buildout created a clean, modern environment that reflects the quality of YLS Bakery's offerings while meeting all operational requirements for this California-based food service facility.
We were engaged by the homeowner to complete a full renovation of an investment property located in California in preparation for sale. This comprehensive, whole-home remodel focused on enhancing functionality, aesthetics, and overall market value. Key upgrades included refacing the kitchen cabinets, installing new tile throughout common areas, and adding additional recessed (can) lighting to bring more natural-looking light into the living room and improve the overall ambiance.
Over three decades of commercial and residential construction means we've navigated North Texas building codes and market conditions across multiple economic cycles. Our experience as a general contractor serving the DFW area gives us perspective on what works and what doesn't.
We maintain current general contractor licensing and comprehensive liability insurance for all projects. You receive a certificate of insurance before work begins.
We build for the long term using tried-and-true methods. Upon project completion, we leave city-approved stamped plans and redlined as-builts in a protective case for supporting future renovations. This approach shows up in fewer warranty callbacks and longer-lasting results.
